Music Coalition

What is a coalition?
A coalition consists of parents, community members, business owners and anyone who has a passion for music education and who wants to join together to advocate for music education in their area.

How is a coalition different from a booster organization?
The primary function of a music booster organization is fundraising for a specific individual music organization. A coalition's goal is to influence the school board members and school administration on district-wide issues related to music education.

What are the coalitions that currently exist?
Below is a list of coalitions that WMEA is aware of. If you feel as though a coalition should be added to the list, please email [email protected].
