Junior Honor Festival Nominations and Documents
Teachers: Registering your students is a two-step process. Please follow all instructions below carefully and completely:

Step One: Generate a Unique Invoice Since not all nominated students are always accepted, SJMEA's normal automated invoicing system can not be used for Honor Festival. However, our Treasurer and your bookkeeper still need a unique invoice number for payment and record keeping. As you are completing your nomination process, please complete the Invoice Form Link, as well. Our system will generate your invoice number and the Honor Festival Event Coordinator will send you a completed invoice, with number of students accepted and invoice total, when the ensemble personnel are known.

​Step Two: Nominate Your Students Please pre-screen your potential nominees, in order to ensure that if accepted, they also participate in this event. Then, follow the remaining steps bellow.
  1. Nominate students using the link below and based on the guidelines provided by the coordinator;
  2. When students are selected, the event coordinator will send a parent letter / invoice;
  3. Submit invoice for payment.  This is YOUR responsibility, SJMEA will NOT send a bill;
  4. Remember, you must pay for everyone who is accepted, even if they do not perform;
  5. Do not send checks from families or cash.  SJMEA accepts payment for the full amount of the invoice from districts, booster clubs, and PTA's.;
  6. Under no circumstance should individual families send payment to the SJMEA PO Box.
